Dye sublimation printing is a digital computer printing technique that uses heat to transfer dye onto materials. This process can use several different materials to place images on such as; plastic, cards, paper, fabric, metal, wood, mugs, glasses, and more. ISublimation proves high resolution, sharper image, and supports 16 M colors.
Direct-to-garment (DTG) is a process of printing on textiles using specialized ink jet technology. A platen holds the garment in a fixed position while the printer sprays the ink onto the garment based on the image files set to the printer. The prints are sharper, and his a high resolution and can support 16 M colors.
The basic methed of creating the image involves creating a stencil on a screen of fine mess. Each added color requires another mesh screen . This process takes a great deal of manual process where a picture or pattern is created by forcing ink or metal on to a surface through a screen of fine material.
Machine embroidery is an embroidery process where an embroidery machine creates a pattern on a garment or hat. It uses commercially in product branding, advertising, uniform or work shirt adornment. Quilters use machine embroidery to embellish their quilts. The choice of thread colors will meet your embroidery needs.
Resin art uses a process called casting. Casting allows you to pour the resin mix into a mold. There are various objects and molds used for resin casting. Many types of resin are available, and you need to use the proper medium for your project. We are planning classes in resin casting to create earrings, pendants, containers, and coasters.
Humminbird Design Studio work with Makers, who display and sell their goods in our shop. The product ranged from kitchen tea towels, candles, candle mats, table runners, coin purses, storage pouches, purses, room deodorizers, holiday decorations, wooden signs, and more. Shop hours are 11-6 Tuesday - Friday and 10-6 Saturday.
